Jonathan Reynolds, MSc, P.T.

Jonathan is the owner and founder of Reynolds Rehabilitation Enterprises and Arts Medicine Minnesota, providers of physical therapy and industrial rehabilitation services in Minneapolis and Eagan, MN. He is a physical therapist specializing in orthopaedic outpatient physical therapy for musculoskeletal injuries sustained by individuals of all ages, especially industrial workers and performing artists. His physical therapy training focused on various manual therapy and functional restoration techniques, including Cyriax, Maitland and McKenzie. In addition to providing physical therapy services, he performs Functional Capacity Evaluations, Job site Analyses, Ergonomic Analyses and Post Offer Evaluations in the industrial rehabilitation arena.

Jonathan is a Ph.D. Candidate in Rehabilitation Science at the University of Minnesota: his dissertation research concerns the identification of right shoulder motion and electromyographic Exposure Variation Analysis (EVA) characteristics in subacromial impingement in orchestral violinists. He received his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Physiotherapy from the University of Cape Town, South Africa and he emigrated to the United States in November 1993. Jonathan is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Performing Arts Medical Association, The International Shoulder Group (affiliated with the International Society for Biomechanics), and the American String Teachers Association.

Jonathan has worked with dancers of all ages for the past 15 years, more recently with the Minnesota Dance Theatre and other professional and amateur dance organizations in the Twin Cities.
